Mayor Evans is pleased to announce that the pre-construction meeting for the Sullivan Road project was held yesterday at the DOTD district headquarters. The long-awaited project has a schedule of 250 working days, excluding weekends and holidays. The preliminary completion date is set for March 2026. The Mayor emphasized the citizens' frustration with this project to the new contractor and looks forward to working closely with them to keep everyone informed of the progress, as well as any potential delays. You will see survey crews and equipment arriving over the next few weeks. The city is negotiating with the contractor to use city-owned property on the west side of Sullivan Road as the laydown area and construction office.
